Apollo Hospitals, HDFC Life, BPCL, Infosys and Tata Consumer Products were among the top gainers on the Nifty today. While the Sensex closed at a level of 61510.58 points with a gain of about 91.62 points, the Nifty closed at a level of 18267.30 points with a gain of 23.10 points. A total of 3,627 companies were traded on the BSE yesterday, out of which 1,868 shares closed with gains and 1,628 shares with losses and there was no difference in the share prices of 131 companies. 111 stocks closed at 52-week high yesterday. At the same time, 70 stocks closed at their 52-week low. Yesterday, 239 shares had upper circuit, while 182 shares had lower circuit.
